Happy Easter {a day late}

I still have not scrapped anything! Not because of scrapper's block this time, just because I have not had any time to sit down and do anything! This weekend has just been really really crazy, Sunday was Easter, Saturday Michael had baseball practice and it was Robert's birthday and we dyed Easter Eggs plus Scott and I cleaned all day, Friday night we had a birthday party to go to. By Sunday night I was just beat!

The kids really had a good time dying eggs Saturday night! Even Michael even though he would probably never admit that he did {"he's so grown up"} but I know he still wanted to do it! Matthew {of course}, Robert and Michaelena loved it! They had a really good time, especially when we started dipping the eggs in all the different colors and making tie dyed eggs! Note to myself, read the instructions on the package! I got a different type of egg kit then normal, this one you needed to add vinegar to the cups and water. First it smelled so bad! I hate the smell of vinegar, then I read the directions fast because the kids were getting antsy, and forgot that it said on the package do not add vinegar to the pink coloring. Duh, what did I do, add vinegar. Michaelena was a little disappointed that she couldn't have a pink egg, but it was fine once she did the different colors! All in all, the kids had a great time!
The kids were really happy with everything that the Easter Bunny left for them! Matthew got a new playstation game and Bionicals, Robert got a new playstation game and WWF wrestelers, Michaelena got Charlotte's Web, Happy Feet, a new baby doll and a stroller, and Michael got his Guitar Hero II for playstation that he wanted! They were really happy with it all. I have to admit that Guitar Hero is pretty cool! I think the adults last night were having more fun playing and sort of took it was from the kids! We didn't get to do the egg hunt that we wanted to because it was suppose to snow {wjhich it didn't}, but after dinner we hid some eggs real quick and let the kids go out just for fun! Next year we are definetly doing an egg hunt!
